TGM x Hunger Games AU

Every year the Capitol of Panem hosts the Hunger Games where tributes are chosen at random between the ages of 11 and 25 to compete against each other to the death.
23 year old Y/n, nicknamed Birdie by the Capitol for singing in the arena, exited victorious from the 72nd Hunger games.
The next year, 24 year old Jake Seresin emerged victorious from the 73rd Hunger Games thanks to the efforts of his mentor and best friend, Birdie.
Now as the 74th Hunger Games nears, Jake and Birdie prepare for the probability that they will witness exactly what their fellow mentor witnessed for all but 2 years in a row, the death of their tributes all while learning if the odds were ever truly in their favor.
