Promises

Skylar's parents died in a car crash, leaving her getting shipped off to her grandparents house. She only is staying for the summer, until her aunt, who lives in Illinois, can take care of her. Then Skylar bumps into one of her childhood crushes, but she doesn't want to get her heart broken again. However much she tries not to fall for him again, she falls harder than she thought possible. Could she ever be more than a friend to him? Or is she already to late?
