Chapter 1: A Whole New Realm

(I would like to warn some readers that this fanfic will greatly change from the show. Some parts will remain the same, but the overall narrative will be different)

A Mind Flayer from the illithid empire has crashed his ship into a realm far different than his own...

The illithid could try and find a way to return, but why would he? For the Mind Flayer no longer feels the presence of the Elder Brain, he has regained his long lost freedom... but what will he do with it?

Will he atone for his sins and work with the justice league to safeguard a better, more peaceful world?

or will he take a page from his kindred and...create his own empire?
