A young woman from Georgia moves to Santa Barbara California with her sister at just 14. After her mother died at only 9 years old she was left with her abusive alcoholic father for years she kept everything at secret until her sister came to visit one day and seen bruising on her body she's lived with her sister ever since then but the trauma never leaves her no matter how long ago it was it always stays with you so she used substances and sex to ease the pain even if just for the moment it helped but when she meets a boy that makes her want to risk everything and leave her past behind .
