Prologue

Fauna has lost it all, her herd, her mate, and now her sister. Struggling in an unknown pack of mismatched shifters, the only ones she wants to be around are Celeste, the Luna, and an older pair of shifters who have taken her under their wing. All she wants to do is be happy again, be safe again, but it feels like that may never happen...but maybe the big shifter who keeps his distance will fix it.

Brutus never thought he had a mate, in his mind only a Goddess who was clearly mad would give him one. Unwanted by his old sleuth, he had no choice but to join Finn's pack and make it somehow. All he ever wanted was to be happy, to be loved. But that may never happen....but a small deer shifter may actually change that.
