Lexi Knox is many things: an active FBI agent with a doctorate in criminal justice, a back to back national championship winning collegiate (retired) cheerleader, a soft pretzel addict, and a best friend. One thing she is not, is a promise breaker. When her new station lands her in San Diego alongside her best friend Jocelyn, she finds herself reunited with her best friend's brother as well. Jake Seresin had always been the hot older brother she had a crush on in college. The lines of their friendship blurred a handful of times, but there was an unspoken rule to never cross into more serious territory, their relationship with the Seresin sister too important to each of them. Lexi may be known to bend the rules in her favor, but never the cardinal rule.
