In the spring of 1898, a dream comes true for Eliza. The former Gryffindor student starts her career as an auror at the Ministry of Magic. She has spent the last five years working with Poppy for the American Association for Magical Beasts in France. Now, back in England, she runs into her old Hogwarts friend Sebastian, who vanished from her life in autumn 1893 with a farewell letter. After they sorted things out, they start working on a really interesting case, involving Dark Magic. The case and the revelations that come with it puts Eliza, Sebastian and everyone else to a test, that will change their lives forever. A dark power arises from the shadows and threatens to destroy the world as we know it. I started this fanfiction after a long writing pause (8 years). I write in my native tongue (German) and then translate into English. I would really appreciate comments and fair critisism so I can improve my writing abilities.
