Prologue

When Loki is apprehended by an organisation called the Time Variance Authority, he didn't expect to be roped into helping a certain agent hunt an elusive variant that had been terrorising the TVA for years. What he also didn't expect, was for the variant to apparently be connected to his timeline, to him. He couldn't have anticipated where this whole venture would lead. The woman from his future, exposing truths about the TVA, and one big branching mess. Sacrifice, grief, anger and love... But which will prevail?
