In this dark retelling of winx club,fifteen year old aisha is excited for her birthday in two days unfortunately,she is being watched by something which she is confused by since creatures were banned in the human world,especially in black crystal where if found,humans with powers or people who hide ones with powers are executed almost daily. On the night before her birthday,she is woken by a gunshot she doesnt think much of it but she feels like she's being watched and looks up but finds the creature in the corner of her room. She passes out and the next morning her left hand is bandaged up with a black substance running down her hand and inking through the bandage. At her party,everything is going well when creatures appear from the ground Unknowingly, the bandages undo themselves and vines pierce through the creatures. She is taken into her house before anything else happens. The creature from her bedroom Shows up and introduces himself as kurloz. He tells the family that he can take Her somewhere safe and reluctantly,her parents agree and he takes her to nightborne academy in the ten realms where to be accepted she has to complete ten trails hosted by the ten lords.she is put under the care of lord malcovic,who reluctantly Accepts and she's placed in his dorm.these trails go from easy to very dangerous quickly,while she goes through them she uncovers lots of truths about herself and the new world she was thrusted in. She makes new friends and enemies while navigating the realms.
