Verglas didn't think anyone wanted them or Peril to be a part of the prophecy. But Hvitur stole both of their eggs to be a part of the Dragonets of Destiny. And now, with Verglas's and Peril's strange new abilities, and the rest of the Dragonets, they had to stop the war that threatened the entire continent of Pyrrhia.
However, when the SkyWings come swooping in and capture Clay, Tsunami, Starflight, Sunny, and Kestrel, killing Dune in the process, Verglas, Peril, and Hvitur are forced to flee to Jade Mountain, where they plan their friend's rescue.
