A vow made

What if we had gotten everything all wrong? What if history had loopholes or parts missing? What if KISS had past that were not recorded? For every light, there is a dark side. For every light side, there is darkness present. Before the records were written or KISS had formed the group of guardians that everyone knew and loved, they all had pasts that were kept from the books. For what reasons? What led them to forming the group that we know and what did history leave out?
