Eryn Gwózdek has taken a risk, moving from her family farm in eastern Poland to the land of freedom for a mercenary job. And oh jeez it is NOT what she had imagined at all, with nationality tension, weird/scary science, unexpected sexism, battles unlike any she's ever experienced, and Eryn is way less prepared in terms of English than she thought she'd need to be.
