Prologue

Alora Abbott survived Fifth Year relatively unscathed, but she can't say the same for Sebastian Sallow, who spent the first two weeks of summer piecing himself back together in Alora's arms and then just...disappeared. At the start of Sixth Year, Sebastian shockingly returns to Hogwarts a new man. No longer faced with the need to heal others, Alora has to face the glaring reality that maybe it's time to put herself back together. Will she fall prey to the darkness like Sebastian almost did, or will he have the foresight to keep Alora from losing herself?
