A Rude Awakening

A man awakes in a place he has no knowledge of, let alone knowledge about his own existence. Trapped inside a world that hates and worships him, praying on his downfall and uprising. He is stuck trying to retrace his steps, stuck relearning everything he has been taught in an unforgiving land. People have tried running away from the past but is he crazy enough to run straight towards it? Will he be able to remember or will he perish as an empty husk, in search of a long forgotten past?
