Carter Reynolds was beaten by his dad, ignored by his mom and disowned by his family. He moves into his dorm room in college hoping to have a fresh start, become a professional swimmer and designer and not relive the incident at what used to be his home but doesn't succeed. His dorm room partner's jealous exgirlfriend spills every dirty secret Carter's ever had, causing Carter to attempt to commit suicide, get addicted to drugs, become a victim of bullying and self harm himself.
