Prologue

France 1557;
Owen Stuart, Queen of Scots, had been hidden away at a convent for her safety since age 9. Engaged since childhood to the future king of France, she awaits her return to the French court for her wedding to Acho Denholm, the Dauphin of France.

She faces political and sexual intrigue in the treacherous world of the French court. Will he hold the heart of the Dauphin? Or perhaps fate has another idea for Owen.

Owen will do whatever he needs for his country but so will his fiancé.
