Description
Each year, the WarLot dictates the fate of 20 individuals from each district, consigning them to the brutal frontlines after they reach the age of 20. Condemned to the frontlines by the WarLot, Valeria, a VIGIL soldier finds an unexpected excuse to skip the death flag- a zombie apocalypse. Except this was a death flag too. As if reality wasn't harrowing enough, Valeria now faces another harrowing reality--a relentless horde of zombies. What's worse? Zombies are not the only threat. Obviously things couldn't be that easy. But hey at least she meets Kai, a wounded soldier she saved. But his wounds bleed deeper than flesh, for his memories have vanished, leaving her to piece together his past. As they grow closer she discovers the reason he had been sent-- To kill her. She really should have let the zombies devour him. In a world where humanity blurs with monstrosity can Valeria navigate treachery, unravel the web of lies, and find a cure before all hope is lost?
