Why did he need to defy me?

No matter what, no matter how many times he died or failed, he wouldn't break. He wouldn't give up. He wouldn't listen to me. It was so pointless; it angered me.

What purpose was there in it? To prove he could choose his own fate?

What a fool he was.

He would see. I would make him see. He couldn't control his fate, I did. He couldn't escape. He wouldn't escape.

He would see.

He needs me.
