Melanie Grimes is Rick Grimes daughter who had to be put in an asylum due to her mental state. She was very violent mentally and she couldn't help it.

There Melanie meets Michael Myers and he's in chains the first time she meets him. Melanie is very curious why he is in chains so she finds out herself.
