Clark Middleton is a widowed, middle aged, good ole country boy who is working hard to keep his farm going and his young son happy.

Rachel Harris is a young woman who leaves the big city and life as a nurse in the ER to come and help her uncle who has a small practice.

When she and Clark meet there is no denying the chemistry between them. While Clark is scared to move on after the death of his wife. Rachel is scared of a ghost from the past.
