The encounter...

Love... That is a foreign term in a demon's mind. They either forget it or simply never felt it. But even so, they are capable of loving, they are able to feel strong emotions like that. They just don't have anybody to love them back, to enlighten them... They just let them rot in the endless void they were trapped in by that cruel Demon King.
