In a desperate bid to rewrite fate, Eddie Vega, a divorced man haunted by the loss of his daughter in an accident, stumbles upon a chance to turn back time. Obtaining a mystical clock from a magical antique store, his plan to undo the tragedy went wrong. Instead of going back 28 months prior, he finds himself 28 years into the past, returning to his 19-year-old body.

Consequently, Eddie faces a twofold challenge. Not only must he prevent his daughter's death years into the future, he has to relive the long-dead romance with his ex-wife as well, the linchpin in his daughter's existence.
