Prologue

Lucas is always swamped with work, leaving him little time for his girlfriend, Irene. However, one tragic day, Irene was involved in an accident that claimed her life. Devastated, Lucas nearly cried and pleaded with God for another chance, praying fervently for Irene to be brought back to life. He vowed to make amends and cherish their relationship.

Then, one morning, Lucas awoke to find Irene standing before him, very much alive. Overwhelmed with disbelief, he realized that his wish had come true; it was as though God had granted him a second chance. It felt akin to a moment from a time machine, as the events that occurred before Irene's death seemed to replay once more.
