******************** Established in 1958 by Eugene Rockbrook, Rockbrook Camp prides itself on ensuring children ages thirteen to seventeen spend two months learning skills and talents through outdoor and indoor activities. Nowadays, Markus and Maria Rockbrook manage the northwestern Utah grounds. Shawn Mullen decides to stay at Rockbrook Camp as a counselor to enlighten campers about the environment, particularly during walks. As a hiking guide, he befriends three other counselors: art teacher Albert Molina, sports coach Carly Padilla, and assistant counselor Victor Rockbrook. Victor Rockbrook is Markus and Maria's son. 2018 is his first year as a counselor at his family's camp, as he is attempting to prove to his parents that he can do more than play video games. He has an insecurity, though, an insecurity he ultimately reveals to Shawn on Day 11. By the time the first half of July is gone, Victor realizes he is attracted to Shawn and vice versa. More weeks pass, and the hiking guide and the assistant counselor sail into a relationship that may or may not last beyond August.
