Description
Martie's world has ended. It ended over 5 years ago to be exact. It took her two years to even begin to recover from what happened and move to Blackwell Grove to start 'living' again. Except she has been there for 3 years now and the 'living' never started. Apart from her work as a freelance translator and her weekly trips to the local coffee shop there is no other evidence that she even exists, let alone lives a full life. But that all begins to change when the one person who bears witness to her existence on a weekly basis, the coffee shop owner Spencer, decides there must be more to Martie than meets the eye and that he is the person to find out what lies beneath her worn cardigans and vacant gaze. Could he be the beginning of a new life for her? Or another painful reminder of why her last life ended?
