Visenya Targaryen was only a babe when her father Rhaegar Targaryen and mother Elia Martell died. After the war that killed her parents. Robert Baratheon instead of killing her like he did with her siblings kept her alive and raised her as his own.

Years later she is 14 and gets told they have to go to winterfell because Jon Arryn died. Though she knows that is not the only reason. She is set in an arranged marriage with Ned Starks oldest son Robb Stark. She was scared because not only did she never meet him, she thought he wouldn't love her. She finds out he is better than she thought.
