Akiko wasn't all that surprised when her father sold her to be the second wife of a far away prince. The pharmacy wasn't doing all that well.
She expected a miserable life, as she was used to her happiness and freedom.
What she didn't expect was her husband to be that handsome, and the first wife to be an equal in age, wisdom, knowledge and to be treated as a friend.
