On The Day I Died....

This was an assignment from my grade 8 English class and I never liked the story. My teacher loved it so please comment and read!
Syd is a pilot for a small band of rebels supposably in the end times (based on the book Left Behind (The Kids) and this may relate to that). She use to be very girly and now has to sneak into the newly repaired (from the largest earthquake ever which one third of the population died in) airport and steal a 747 and fly to the rebel base. Will her and the Believers' make it there alive?
