Before Celestia came to this world. It was inhabited by beings fighting between light and darkness.

The war took millions years until eventually the light prevailed and sealed the darkness away. The being of light then disappeared after defeating the darkness.

The history between dark and light vanish from this world... lost through the passage of time.

Until someone broke the seal.
