Kezia was always there, a lot of the time Beatrice didn't notice, and when she did, she took it for granted. Kez was like a sunbeam shining through the trees, although describing her as so didn't seem quite right given her brooding tendencies, but it was true, she shone unnoticed and unappreciated, and a lot of the time was between the shadows.

Kez loves Bea. Bea loves Kez.

But it's never that simple.
