Abigail Ross is anything but normal. She moved a lot, had no friends, and has a terrible relationship with her parents. Suffering from sleepless nights because of terrible nightmares, she quickly learns that these nightmares may be related to finding out more about herself, and the world she had forgotten she belonged.

The steady breathing was now blowing down her left ear. Then the breathing completely stopped and somehow felt relieved, although she did not dare to open her eyes. She was right not to, because a menacing voice chuckled malevolently and spoke:
