Chapter One: At the Corner of the Desperation and Despair

Westin is a tattoo artist who specializes in the budding field of magical inks that create fantastic tattoos, including those that weave contracts and bindings into them. Because of this, his brother Everette takes him to a brothel to tattoo the workers there with his inks. He gets his choice of workers for the night, but the one he chooses is labeled "resistant," and he's assured it's an act. He spends the night with him, but the act doesn't stop, and he realizes there's more going on than he ever thought.
