Eileen Thomas has spent most of her life as a social reject, getting into trouble and never being in the same spot long enough to make friends even if she wanted to. The absence of her mother in her life and her dad's mysteriously dangerous wife's sister haunt her for as long as she can remember.

Suddenly, Eileen and her friends are being whisked away to a camp for demigods, where they learn that the gods are real, and the world is in grave danger. And it's up to them to save everyone - or die trying.
