While in the midst of a quarter life crisis, Nadiya Dasgupta travels with her girlfriend Vanessa Benton to their high school reunion in western Pennsylvania. She's excited to catch up with friends during the long weekend at their former boarding school, relive youthful years, and maybe sort her life out in a place where she first felt herself whole. Reunited with their core friend group, they start with frequent visits into the forest that surrounds the school. But one friend didn't make it, and they don't know why. Meanwhile, an old classmate who always existed on the periphery of their friendship is eager to add herself. Nadiya has some secrets-including big doubts she's keeping from Vanessa-but she's not the only one. The forest has always been their place for secrets. Maybe it has some secrets of its own.
