Since the dawn of time, there has been a plain beyond our own where our dead go to rest, the Land of the Remembered. This land is ruled by the god known as El Muerto. And beyond there is the Land of the Forgotten, ruled by the god known as Xibalba.
The land of the living isn't without their own guardian though. (Y/N) watches over mortals and guards them to the best of her ability without interfering too much. Mainly to keep Xibalba from causing trouble. When El Muerto and Xibalba make a bet about which mortal boy would end up with a girl, (Y/N) keeps an eye on the girl while both set of males duke it out.
