Last of the Daisies

"I work from home—telemarketing, but Trudy, poor Trudy, she still has to brave the hour drive out of Poughkeepsie to that bank-teller job. They've seen five attempted robberies this week. They have a squad of cops there now that take fingerprint scans at the door. All because the late night news says that this time next month--we are all going to die."

Trudy is serious and settled, raising a rambunctious six year old. To Patrica, serious is deciding on a bottle of wine. The two sisters live together and are dealing with a world about to blow -- or so they say.
