Synopsis

In a world ravaged by the relentless cruelty of war, Shinei Nouzen, a battle-hardened survivor of the Republic's endless conflict, emerges victorious over his own brother. Seeking refuge from the perpetual chaos that has shaped his existence, he stumbles upon a city whose towering skyscrapers and bustling streets offer a stark contrast to the battlefields he knows.

Here, Shinei encounters Ernst, a mysterious figure with an unspoken promise of respite. With little left to lose, Shinei takes a leap of faith, following Ernst to the "Advanced Nurturing High School," an institution that promises a different kind of survival. Assigned to Class D, the lowest echelon in the school's rigid hierarchy, Shinei embarks on a journey far removed from the frontlines but still filled with its own brand of conflict.

Class D becomes Shinei's new battleground, populated by a diverse group of survivors, each bearing their own scars and secrets from the world they left behind.
