On this Earth, a AI called L.I.V.E is in control. Society is at the mercy of this intelligence. A chip implanted in the base of everyone's skull constantly tracks them. Cities lie in between "H-Zones" - areas of the land that have been contaminated by radiation. It is a dull and painful existence for most, scraping out a living at the huge recycling plants, but the elite Regia live lives of luxury at the top of skyscrapers.

When Tes's family is struck with misfortune, they must flee Archai, their home city. But what they find outside the walls might just be deadly....
