Our sunshine wasn't made by the sun... It wasn't made by the feeling you got when the sun touch your skin.. Nope .. my sunshine was made by my hopeful thoughts of one day not being in this attic .... being free... As for the Van Daans and my parents, well I wasn't sure if they had that little sunshine. I honestly think they were rotten in misery we all were to a certain extent... Peter, his sunshine, I believe was me since the misfortunate lost of Mouschi, his cat. And then.. I got my wish. It wasn't as good as I hoped...
