Prologue

Pay the debt and leave. That was Farah's goal for almost a decade. She'd toil over and over again to get out of that accursed city and be free with her mother. But one bad contract led to another and she found her only hope was in that of an unexpected employer. Her life was suddenly in his hands and he wanted to keep it that way. Nothing was going to stop her though, she'd do whatever it takes to be free and she meant it.
