5 years since events of the defeat of the Dark Jerec, Republic hero a new jedi Kyle Katarn & the former Emperor's hand Mara Jade are struggling with the remains of the Empire. Kyle learns of a mentioning of a temple of a planet known as Dromund Kaas and goes to investigate, leaving Mara having to help the New Republic. However...something is very wrong and it will be up to Mara to figure out what has happened.
