Drugs?

New Jersey's just trying to unwind after being beaten by the heroes, he'd be hearing a lot about it from Nevada....the heroes show up. He was certain he could hear something about kidnapping him and taking him to a different dimension. Was it in his head? Was Florida just being stupid again?
