In the past mankind was attacked by mechanical enemies known as raptures. Those who fought against the unknown enemies were known as Nikkes. After losing the war for the surface any remaining survivors barricaded themselves in the underground. 50 years later the battle for the surface is still ongoing.

For his first deployment, a new commander is thrown into the thick of a heated battle. How can he fare against humanity's greatest threat?
