A note to the reader

Duha lives alone by necessity not by choice. The world passes her by for the most part. Her past prevents her from getting close to other yaspilrmeth. The world around her is changing to the point where even she can't hide from it anymore. The Dragons are waking up and there is a war between the last two surviving kingdoms. With the message to move to the north pass ringing in her ears, she wonders if joining with those that pushed her aside is worth the pain it will cause her.
