What if Voldemort never went to the Potter's house out of free will? What if he was being controlled by Dumbledore. Forced to do something he didn't want to.

Angel was always with Harry from the very beginning. They only had each other to rely on. They only needed each other. They lived a...well decent life with their abusive aunt and uncle. Everything was fine, until Harry's letter for school came. That's when everything started to go to absolute crap.

The headmaster of the school was called Dumbledore. Dumbledore was a name she remembered. I name she didn't like or trust. Something she's heard when she was a baby that was traumatized to her memory.
