Author's Note

Arley is a shy and innocent girl attending her second year at college. She finds comfort in spending her days at Mister Henry's bookshop, helping out and reading books. At home, Arley is confined to the characters in her books. Being the only girl in the house comes with its good and bad sides, Arley keeps a secret only her family knows.

What will Arley do when her older brother's best friend comes to live with her family for a while? Will Arley be able to contain herself and keep her secret safe? Or will she face more than she thought her little mind could handle?
