Chapter One: The Wedding

When the bride runs away a month before the wedding, Edith is asked to stand in her place until she returns. She does not, and Edith marries the Crown Prince of Antis. It would have been better if she resented him. That was not her fate. She was head over heels in love with him. It had been so since she was a young girl. Marriage would have been to her advantage then, if her Prince's heart was not set on his runaway bride. Edith was tired of hiding her feelings. It was time for her to make her own moves this time.
