PART 1: THE BATTLE OF SEKIGAHARA

Hidetoshi Kinoshita's tumultuous journey culminates in his adoption into the Mōri clan, becoming Hideaki Mōri. As Hideaki, he takes a stand at Mount Nangū as a representative of Terumoto during the Battle of Sekigahara, a pivotal point in Japanese history said to be one of the major turning points. This point of divergence sets the course for the advancement of Japan's history and overseas expansion under the Toyotomi regime.

We will also trace the significant turning point in world history, the Great War (World War I), and beyond. In the first part, we will focus on the Battle of Sekigahara, while in the subsequent parts, we will delve into the history of Japan from the early modern to modern times. The fourth part will explore the world during the Great War, branching out to explore various possibilities.

It's important to note that we will not touch upon the period of World War II or its surrounding era.
