Victor Frankenstein, a young college dropout with grand aspirations, has nowhere to go. Until by a stroke of luck, he runs into a carriage owned by a man named Hastie Lanyon, who just happens to know a scientist who's looking for an assistant. And this scientist is none other than Henry Jekyll.

And that goes about as well as you'd expect.
