Synopsis

After ascending the Iron Throne following his brother Aegon's death, King Aemond Targaryen's relentless pursuit of a male heir leads to a series of ill-fated marriages, marked by executions for treason. Desperate for a solution, Aemond's council suggests a union with Aemma, the last surviving child of Rhaenyra Targaryen.

Aemma, harboring deep resentment toward Aemond, resists the marriage with all her might. Advised by his council to win her over through charm, Aemond initially complies.
